Domestic water supply is safe
The million and a half people who live on the Costa del Sol can rest assured that their domestic water supply is safe and dependable, according to the politician responsible for supplying it.
Doña Cinta Castillo, the Andalucian Minister for the Environment, said on Thursday that an investment of 100 million euros by her department has now “guaranteed” the flow of domestic water.
Answering questions in the Andalucian parliament, she stated that the supply, cleansing and purification of people’s drinking water is now secure, with teams of technicians guaranteeing its quality.
Further measures will be taken, said Señora Castillo, to improve the supply to domestic customers and to businesses.
