Think to Know - By Mara Lemanis
Think to Know
By Mara Lemanis
At the stroke
of a clock
in heaven
or
the cosmos
I hold
the minutes
in my hand
they cling
like tree frogs
as I listen
to the mind
of time
and strain
to know
what thoughts
come from
the cosmos
in the folds
of heaven
those thoughts
my body
thinks
I know
without appeal
but what
the clock
struck
my mind
heard
and felt
but could not
think
to know.
