During the event the young book worms also took part in drama workshops run by Stagecoach and enjoyed several writing themed activities.

Headteacher Sian Kirkham, said: “’Book Week is an excellent opportunity to take time off our usually busy timetable to stop and appreciate the wonder of stories and books. A personal highlight was seeing our Year Six children share their favourite stories with the Nursery class, the older children were surprised by how much they enjoyed this unique experience.”
