The Children for Peace Gala Marbella

On Saturday 27th March, Stephen Lloyd-Morgan and Rebecca Tate joined a wealth of Spanish stars and celebrities including Princess Maria Luisa of Prussia and the world famous soprano Montserrat Caballé and her daughter Marti among many others at “The Children for Peace” Gala at the Hotel Incosol, Marbella.

The evening was hosted by Carmen Martinez-Bordiu and Ana Garcia Obregon.

To rapturous applause Steve and Rebecca sang “The Prayer for Haiti”. Their performance introduced by Maurice Boland of Talk Radio Europe included the acknowledgement received last week from HM The Queen commending the expat community in Spain for all their efforts for the Help Haiti Appeal!

Lamia Khashoggi (wife of businessman Adnan Khashoggi who was also in attendance) is Vice-President of “The Children for Peace” Charity and alongside President Debbi Mace later thanked and congratulated Steve and Rebecca for their performance.
