Shooting in Marbella

The man is said to be critical after being shot three times

A foreign man has been injured in a shooting incident in Marbella.

The Junta de Andalucía Emergency Coordination Service reports that several people were involved in the shooting in Calle Pablo Picasso, Nueva Andalucía at 8,15pm on Tuesday evening.

The attackers fled the scene and a foreign middle-aged man, whose identity and nationality has not been released, was taken to the Costa del Sol hospital after being shot three times, apparently while in his car. There is no indication as yet of the motive for the attack.

Diario Sur reports that man was reported to be in a critical condition when transferred to hospital.
