"Rock 'n Roll Night" at Le Chic on Saturday 30th July - Hipódromo Costa del Sol.
The live music venue “Le Chic” within the hipódromo costa del sol (the Mijas racecourse) is holding a “Rock ‘n Roll Night” on Saturday 30th July. This is the second music event held at Le Chic this year and will be followed throughout summer with many others. The ‘open air’ elevated terrace is an ideal spot to view the weekly races from and also for live music events. There is a quality sound system installed, meaning you don’t have to shout to be heard but the music is definately ‘concert’ volume. Plenty free parking right outside the entrance to the racecourse makes this venue very popular with drivers, no more long walks to get there or extortionate parking fees.
“A night of Rock ‘n Roll and Rockabilly” with two live bands and DJ starts when the doors open at 8.30pm and “DJ Tall Mike” kicks off the evening playing original vinyl R&R records from the 40s and 50s.
At 9.30pm Revival take to the stage playing 50s and 60s R&R – all you favourite songs!
Tall Mike gets back on the turntables as the stage is re set for The Beerbellys a great Rockabilly band, who took the American caseta by storm at the last Fuengirola International Fair. The Beerbellys perform from 11.30pm and after that DJ Tall Mike plays more classic Rock ‘n Roll until closing at 2.00am.
This concert is FREE ENTRY, and with a capacity limited to 300 we recommend you get there early to be sure of getting in (and a seat!)
