Donnas del Mundo - An Art Exhibtion with a Difference at the Casino Marbella
Donna de Oldenburg and Julia Rep it’s inspiration
I was delighted to attend an art exhibition with a difference, held in the attractive setting of the Casino Marbella, created by the popular and talented pair of artists from Marbella, Ose del Sol the painter of his particular exhibition, and Mugge Fischer who prepared and created the first class presentation for us all to enjoy as part of their joint project from Grupo Artenovum.
The unusual theme of the exhibition was a series of paintings in honour of women tilted Donnas del Mundo inspired by the fascinating women the artists have known in this cosmopolitan area of Marbella Southern Spain. The Style is based on the Donna Lisa Gherardini by Leonardo Da Vinci using pictorial styles employed through out history and the concept of the these paintings is the representation of the magic of the Donnas del Mundo all special, enigmatic and unique women.
Even more fascinating is that each beautiful painting of the Donnas is accompanied by a story of the selected Donna, written by chosen writers and friends who have been inspired by the duos ideas. I’m happy to say that I was one of those selected and my story was of the Donna De Copenhague!

The exhibition was heavily attended by much of Marbella’s stylish and well known personalities, beautiful women of all ages exquisitely turned out in a colourful mix of summer dresses, some some escorted by good looking men along along with the plethora of the media who tuned out in force to cover this exciting event that I estimated to be nearly 400 guests in attendance, who enjoyed the atmosphere, the music and dancing, and we were generously provided by a range of beverages supplied and served professionally by the Casino.
The entire evening was fun and it’s therefore not surprising, that when Mugge and Ose hold an exhibition, it’s normally filled to capacity.
