Sliding walls
A little later she started to study the history of Japanese architecture and culture. Two years ago she traveled to Japan and was introduced to traditional and modern housing with all kinds of materials. “I noticed the layout of the simple spaces in a house. They are often separated by sliding walls with a view of an inner garden. They are quiet spaces and have a relation to nature. ”

Dynamics
During this trip she took many photos of buildings and houses which she later converted into collages or close-ups. The addition of elements such as sliding walls, stairs and shadows gave her work a new dynamic.
