The Kasser Rassu Gallery - Showroom Presents Milú Petersen
Milú Petersen is an accomplished artist, born in Mozambique, east Africa, and December 4, 1956. She spent her youth between Portugal, England and Zimbabwe. Milú studied Belas Artes in Lisbon, and then moved to Denmark where she studied at Art Schools in Skagen and Copenhagen. Her paintings are based on the Impressionism/Fauvism style.
In Paris Milú had the opportunity to learn “the art of weaving”! After a year in France she moved to Brazil, where she currently lives, in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro.
Milú had exhibitions in Colombia, Guatemala, Panamá, Venezuela, Bolivia, Perú, Puerto Rico, U.S.A. (Miami), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France (Paris), Portugal, Spain and Brazil.
Her work has been featured in several Brazilian leading magazines (i.e. Casa Claudia, Veja, and Destino Brazil). Her work is displayed in boutique hotels in Búzios, a resort town in the state of Rio de Janeiro, made globally famous by celebrities like Brigitte Bardot, Mick Jagger and Madonna.
