In the early 1990′s John Wadsworth, then a food scientist and later to become co-founder of TNI, received a sample of noni, a fruit from Tahiti.

He then travelled to Tahiti, gathering information about noni and seeking out traditional health practitioners with first-hand knowledge of the noni plant’s ancient beneficial applications.
