My Journey with Spirit by David Ratcliffe Feterston
My journey into Psychic development, Mediumship and Healing began at the age of 13. My father who is also a medium became vice-president of the local Spiritualist church where he would attend the services there. I asked if I could join him for the demonstration of mediumship one evening to which he agreed. It fascinated me the accuracy of the evidence being proven by the medium and really made me think more about life after physical death.
Over the course of the next few years I attended the local Spiritualist church and at 18 I received communication from the Medium. She told me specific things about moving, where I would live and the town I would first work in which was Plymouth. I dismissed what she said due to the town being some 250 miles away from my home. Three years later I was sat on a train going to work in Plymouth when the words of the medium came back to me. It astounded me that anybody could predict future events so accurately and again it made me think more about our connection with spirit. I decided to attend the Spiritualist church in Paignton where I received communication from the medium who told me I would be a powerful medium and healer and now was the time to begin to train. I was introduced to the teachers at the church and so my development began.
Up until this point unlike most mediums that see spirit as children I had never seen, heard or felt spirit at all. It was completely new to me but I found that I could do the exercises in class and so my journey into mediumship and Healing began in earnest. Over the last 15 years I have been fortunate enough to train with some of the most powerful mediums and healers in the world. It was only later when speaking to my father that I found out that we had psychics and mediums on both sides of the family hence my own strong latent abilities.
My psychic, mediumship and healing development gave me the impetus to explore other aspects of spirituality and with the support of my beautiful wife Dawn I trained as a Yoga teacher. This then led on to studying Kriya Yoga, Ayurveda, The Vedas and Indian philosophy which I believe has really deepened my connection to spirit.
My work takes me too many different countries around the world and I have been fortunate enough to guide many different people from many various cultures and religions showing how Spirit knows no language barrier and can unite souls together in friendship.
