Cartier & ENGEL & VÖLKERS Party in Puerto Banus
I was invited to attend the Cartier and ENGEL & VÖLKERS Yachting party, held in Puerto Banus on Thursday evening 27 September 2012 attended by hundreds of attractive, elegantly attired guests from Marbella and environs, who were royally served with fine champagne and delicious tapas, whilst they enjoyed an evening of popular music emanating from professional singers from the ENGEL & VÖLKER S stunning yacht, docked in the marina directly opposite Cartiers, and the enjoyable social discourse taking place both outside and within Cartier’ s beautiful shop.
Though there were many people I did not know I was delighted to meet some of my old friends and colleagues who were there also, as well as some celebrities who I recognised; Gunilla von Bismark, Smadar Kahana, Christian Volkers, Gunnar Petzke, Sven Odia, Simoneta Gomez-Acebo and Olivier Gay, the General Director of Cartier.
ENGEL & VÖLKERS with over 400 offices in over 32 countries we are one of Europe’s leading real estate companies have also 50 real estate shops in Spain, 3 of them in Marbella, so are well known for their professional service, offering their excellent services in Marbella’s Golden Mile, Elviria, and Puerto Banús, able to present clients with only qualitative high and the most extensive property selection, for sale on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Cartier needs no introduction from me, as their International name alone, conjurers images of beautifully stunning jewellery and classic service from their professionals.
The party inside the shop was delightful, with guests being able to enjoy playing light- hearted games of cards where they could win selected prizes from Cartier overseen by professional croupiers who entertained the visitors whilst they enjoyed the champagnes and wines, abundantly available, served by the first class caterers in attendance.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was charming and elegant and the guests in attendance were from various nationalities, some of whom I had the pleasure to converse with as we enjoyed the occasion.
All in all, despite some heavy rain later in the evening, it was a first class event prepared by both companies that I’m sure the visitors enjoyed.
