"Volare" The Gypsy Kings
The Internationally acclaimed Gypsy Kings sing an exciting Spanish version of Domenico Modugno’s international hit song “Volare” in an original musical arrangement and style which this video highlights to perfection.
Domenico Modugno who composed and sang Volare and the 1958 Italian Eurovision entry is one of the worlds best known and most popular songs. Volare has been recorded and sung by many of the best and most famous performers and orchestras in the world and is a lasting testimony to Modugno’s unique writing skills.
Modugno won the prestigious San Remo Festival four times in 1958, 1959, 1962 and 1966 and below are some of his other memorable compositions and hits.
