Reception children at the British School of Marbella threw their mortar boards high in the air to celebrate the end of term.
The annual Speech Day event saw youngsters between the ages of two and seven years old receiving rewards for their academic achievements during the past school year.
Pupils at Marbella’s newest international school also put on a host of musical performances for more than 100 parents and teachers during the celebration at Cerrado del Aguila Golf course in Mijas Costa last Friday (July 1).
There were speeches from Head Teacher Sian Andrews, Foundation Stage Leader Donna Fry and Group Development Manager Michael Elms.
Parents then enjoyed a round of golf and children played on a bouncy castle before everyone tucked into a sumptuous barbecue.
The event followed a host of parties at the school the previous day where children ate cakes, played pass the parcel and played musical statues.
