Roberto Danova a supporter of Dario Poli in his campaign to promote Marbella and the Costa del Sol, was born at Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy, but for decades has worked in the U.K creating an unusual blend of original musical compositions with his unique sound; the Danova sound.
During the seventies, eighties and nineties he wrote for - or produced - Mungo Jerry, Geordie, Showaddywaddy, AC/DC, Kelly Marie, Joe Dolan (who was hugely successful on the Continent, South Africa, South America and Australia with Roberto’s compositions). Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, Barbara Mandrell, James Darren, The Drifters, Ronnie Milsap as well as over 20 Continental singers, covered many of his compositions.
