Dolph Lundgren ambassador for Marbella
The Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren has been officialy appointed as Ambassador for Marbella by the Town hall on Tuesday. The actor who is best known for his role as Russian Boxer Ivan Drago in the Hollywood Blockbuster “Rocky IV” is one of the best known high profile residents of Marbella.
Dolph Lundgren said that “Marbella is a very special place for my family. It’s a marvellous city where we can enjoy life to the full”. The actor also praised the “warth and hospitality of the people who know how to enjoy life”.
The Mayor of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz, stated that it was “an authentic privilege to have neighbours as distinguished as Dolph [Lundgren], who could choose any place to live and has decided to be with us”.
The actor is currently in talks with producers for the new film “Conan”. Lundgren told this to MTV while out promoting his latest film “Command Performance”. Lundgren explained that casting was still underway, and a final decision wouldn’t be made until sometime in 2010.
