A Peace Festival at the British School of Marbella has raised a massive 1,380 euros for charity.
Children, staff and parents dressed up for the event to celebrate the International Day of Peace – with funds going to the International Red Cross.
During the festival youngsters sang ‘One Love’ (Bob Marley), ‘Blowing in the Wind’ (Bod Dylan) and ‘Earth Song’ (Michael Jackson).
The youngsters also sold handmade gifts such as peace bracelets, headbands and painted lanterns to help raise the funds.
As well as performances from the pupils, a number of parents also took to the stage including the Year One mums, who sang ‘Love Train’.
BSM Headteacher Sian Kirkham, said: “Peace is especially important in today’s world. Celebrating the International Day of Peace enabled our children to consider how we can live together in harmony while raising money for an extremely important charity.
“The festival was a huge success and the generosity of our parents was incredible.”
