Vuelta comes to Gibraltar
Gibraltar will be hosting one of the stages in next year’s edition of the ‘Vuelta Ciclista a Andalucia 2010’ that will be held between February 21-25th.
According to Madrid sports daily Marca, the stage will consist of a five kilometre individual time-trial mountain climb.
Informed local sources said the final logistical details are currently being finalised.
Top names like the Schleck brothers (Saxo-Bank), reigning world road-race champion Cadel Evans (BMC) and star sprinter Mark Cavendish (Columbia HTC) have already confirmed their participation in the Vuelta.
